Charles Bull

Charles Bull was born in the North East and moved to Harwich in 1963 after he had already qualified as a Master Mariner in the Merchant Navy. While living in Harwich Charles has been a Trinity House pilot, a Port of London pilot and a local businessman. He was also central to bringing the Australian sailing vessel 'Endeavour' to Harwich in 2008. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the Harwich Mayflower Project. Charles spends a good deal of time researching the historic aspects of the project and strongly supports the concept of the Mayflower as a long term addition the Harwich maritime scene.
